Stuart Rowson-Author visit
Stuart has spent nearly 25 years in the media, with the majority of that at the BBC.
At BBC Children’s he oversaw Newsround, Bedtime Stories, the CBBC & CBeebies presenters plus the TV scheduling and iPlayer publishing teams. In addition, he also led the social media strategy from TikTok to YouTube and all of the CBBC and CBeebies websites and apps.
Prior to that he was the digital editor for BBC Sport, leading the website and social teams through major events like the London and Rio Olympics, the Brazil World Cup and several major events. He has also spent in BBC News including at BBC Breakfast.
Since leaving the BBC he now runs his own successful media company and has worked with some of the biggest names in British Sport including Chelsea FC, British Cycling, UK Sport and the Commonwealth Games.
He is also an advisor to the NSPCC.
